History

Twelve years after Kalwall® translucent sandwich panels revolutionized the natural daylighting industry, it found a perfect complement in Structures Unlimited, Inc. Incorporated in 1968 as a strategic partner to Kalwall Corporation, we originally specialized in the installation of residential and commercial pool enclosures. The aluminum box beam superstructure that we developed proved to be a perfect fit for the Kalwall panels, creating brilliant settings that utilize diffuse natural daylight. The success of Structures Unlimited continued through the 1970s with the introduction of our Skyroofs® and developed further after the turn of the century when we developed a product line that included walkways and canopies.

From swimming pools and natatoriums to gyms, libraries, museums and classrooms, Structures Unlimited is the premier single-source manufacturer of structural skylights, Skyroofs, pool enclosures, canopies, walkways and entire structures. Our unique pre-engineered box beam system can span areas in excess of 100 feet, while providing a clean, finished appearance that is virtually maintenance-free, energy efficient and highly corrosion resistant. We have prided ourselves on our service and commitment to see a project through, from start to completion. We design, manufacture, ship the product on our own trucks and install with our own factory-trained crews when applicable. Single-source responsibility provides our customers with a high level of comfort and satisfaction, and the list of projects recognized by both the building industry and the architectural community continues to grow.
