Continuing Education Credits

Structures Unlimited has partnered with the AIA and GBCI as an Education Partner by designing and offering the course “Daylighting and LEED Credits” that earns building professionals credits in both AIA and GBCI continuing education programs. We provide (1) Learning Unit Hour of Continuing Education in Health, Safety and Welfare (HSW) and (1) GBCI CE Hour for LEED AP BD&C and LEED AP Homes. The one-hour live and in-person course is led by one of our LEED AP certified instructors. Topics discussed include the origins of translucent daylighting techniques, energy conservation and opportunities offered in contrast, design, form and aesthetics.  Also included are discussions surrounding recycled content, heat island effect and light pollution reduction. Our LEED AP presenter is able to offer advice on sustainable solutions accepted by the LEED program.
