Six projects recognized by the American School & University in its annual Educational Interiors Showcase, including one awarded the highest honor in its class, incorporated the use of Kalwall® and strategic partner Structures Unlimited.

AS&U is a leading voice in education facilities and its annual Educational Interiors Showcase is the premier architectural competition in the industry. The awards were announced in this month’s edition of American School & University.

“We are always delighted to see be part of such beautifully designed spaces,” said Amy Keller. “It’s is gratifying that architects look to Kalwall and Structures Unlimited to enhance their projects. Recognition through these American School and University awards continues to speak to the quality of our work and that is something we are proud of.”

The Milan Center for Innovative Studies in Milan, Mich., a 23,000-foot addition to an existing high school, was awarded the Crow Island School Citation, the highest award for designs used in educational buildings housing students from kindergarten to high school.

The new Dunbar High School in Washington, D.C., a $128 million project, was awarded a Gold Citation.

The new Brenda Lawson Athletic Center at the University of Tennessee, the commons area at the Meadow Glen Middle School in Lexington, S.C., the Student Center for Life at Augustana College and the Aviation Training Institute at Vaughn College of Aeronautics were all cited for outstanding designs.
